ICARE by sportsart

The ICARE was invented inside Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital's renowned research institute. In short, it's an elliptical trainer with a motor that has a brain. It allows patients recovering from a wide range of illnesses and injuries to get on their feet and moving sooner and longer.

Each year, the Da Vinci Awards honor the most innovative developments and research in adaptive and assistive technology. This video was shown at the ceremony where the ICARE was named a Da Vinci Award winner.
